1. 232 tariffs. As of Sept. 30th, 100% tariffs apply to Canada for commercial drug shipments to the US. The companies' goal is to ensure this issue is on the radar of our Federal government administrations (e.g. ISED) and politicians. I plan to contact their offices (calls, emails, in person where possible) to make them aware of the risk to the Canadian CDMO industry, manufacturing jobs, and to Canada's Life Science commercialization strategy. My goal is for this issue to be on the agenda to address by our trade negotiators if and when trade negitiations resume so they can be reduced to something reasonable (e.g. Europe is 15% whereas Canada is 100%).

2. SRF application. The company presently has an application with the Strategic Response Fund for funding considering for an expansion at our Mississauga Ontario site. While it is at an advanced stage and near a decision, I may have contact with politicians and applicable personnel where it is raised and requires my declaration herein. Topics of discussion would be on status and timing for approval and public notification of approval. Such contact will be in person, though calls or emails..
