Mr. Speaker, maybe that member and Mark might want to speak to another Albertan named Danielle Smith, who said that it has never been such a good time to be an Albertan and that she has never been so optimistic about the future of Alberta and a strong Canada.

Mr. Speaker, I was speaking with my sister Sharon and my brother-in-law Jim, and I explained to them that when we passed Bill C-5, we would apply everything we learned from major projects to all projects in Canada. We would learn from the shovels in the ground at the Darlington nuclear project, from the shovels in the ground at the Montreal port and from the shovels in the ground at the north coast transmission line, and we would apply that to all projects in Canada. That is what Bill C-39 does. We really hope the members opposite will join with us and help us build Canada strong.
Mr. Speaker, rather than scare Canadians, we are helping Canadians have hope. That is why today, with the Ontario government, we announced that the Pickering refurbishment is going to move forward. Mr. Speaker, the Minister of Finance is not the only person with good news. Mr. Speaker, my colleague, the Minister of Finance, is not the only person who has good news today. I want to let members know that the 2,000 workers at Woodfibre LNG are working hard, and they will be producing new LNG in 2027. By the way, the 1,000 workers at Cedar LNG are also working hard, and they will be producing new LNG in 2028. More good news is that the sunrise project is going to start turning sod in a couple of weeks for another 1,000 workers. Maybe the Conservatives can get on board and start helping to build.

Mr. Speaker, while the Leader of the Opposition chooses to cherry-pick points, what we know is that the head of the Bank of Canada said that our economy continues to show real resilience in the face of illegal and unjust tariffs and in the face of two economy-destroying wars. Canadians want us to focus on building. That is why we are building transmission. That is why we are building new hydro. That is why we are building new LNG. That is why we are building new nuclear. Maybe the Leader of the Opposition should get out of the clouds and start helping us build.
