Agriculture and International Trade - Promote and defend Canada's supply management system as it relates to the World Trade Organization and Canada-European Trade Agreement negotiations, as well as other bilateral and multilateral negotiations. Advocating that no concessions impacting dairy or supply management be granted in the context of any negotiations with the U.S. Advocating that the federal government maintain funding where possible and ensure continuity of dairy research and that no negative impacts occur to dairy research as a result of recent funding cuts.
