What they're asking for

In the registry's own words. Descriptions are only filed for meetings since mid-2024.

  1. Given the emergent national discussion associated with the need to build Canadian energy infrastructure in response to U.S. tariffs and political instability, ECC is developing its recommendations to rebuild investor confidence in Canada's pipeline industry.

    June 24, 2026 · Tim Hodgson · Liberal · Energy

  2. Seeking the Government of Canada's permission for a two-year pilot project to conduct field testing for CO2 and H2 pipelines (100 m to 300 m lengths) at CFB Suffield. There are currently no North American field testing facilities for CO2 and H2 pipelines. CO2 and H2 pipelines are integral to Canada's interest in decarbonization.
