1. •Encourage the government to implement of the priorities, policies and programs laid out in the Defence Industrial Strategy, including the proper functioning of enabling programs and policies like industrial security, Industrial and Technological Benefits, financing, and innovation/R&D.

2. Improve timeliness and predictability of Canada's export control regime so that they do not place Canadian exporters at a competitive disadvantage compared to NATO allies.

3. Encourage the Government of Canada to take the steps necessary to meet Canada's international defence obligations, including developing a plan for how Canada will meet its NATO burden sharing commitments. This may also include developing a strategy, policies and programs to promote, enhance, and acquire sovereign Canadian defence production to better defence itself and allies, as Canada committed to in the NATO Defence Production Action Plan and NATO Industrial Capacity Expansion Pledge.
