What they're asking for

In the registry's own words. Descriptions are only filed for meetings since mid-2024.

  1. Office is based in China. Red Meat industry has a series of regulatory and trade issues that the Canadian government is working to advance. The work our office is doing is to also lobby the federal government to ensure our issues remain a priority and that they understand the on the ground dynamics. On the beef side of the office it is to remain in market and on the pork side it is to see the 25% tariff that china imposed removed.
