What they're asking for

In the registry's own words. Descriptions are only filed for meetings since mid-2024.

  1. ANAC is participating in an industry-government process aimed at modernizing the Feeds Regulations. ANAC is in regular contact with CFIA to communicate the feed industry's position on regulatory renewal. The association's position is that a modernized feeds regulation should focus on safety, foster innovation and competitiveness and provide adequate consumer protection. Redundant, outdated and unnecessary regulatory barriers should be removed. ANAC is also working with CFIA on ensuring that policies and programs are developed and updated regularly to follow the fast pace of innovation in our industry. Having timely access to new feed ingredients is key to our livestock producers being successful.
