WoodGreen will be advocating for an extension and further investment into the Affordable Housing Fund (AHF). Increase funding and grant ratios for the Affordable Housing Fund. Advocating for the federal government to create a standardized hybrid financing pathway for partnership projects between non-profits and private housing developers. A hybrid financing pathway would provide an official process for partnership-based projects where grants and loans could be co-stacked. Advocate that AHF remains under CMHC and Build Canada Homes (BCH) operate as a special operating agency.
