How this is counted
- Campaign is the MP's own candidate return for the most recent general election they ran in, matched by riding and name. An MP whose campaign has not yet filed, or whose contributions were all $200 or less, is not on the list.
- Riding association is the registered association for the MP's riding and party, in its latest reported year. Associations fund campaigns and operate between elections, so the two columns are not the same money.
- Over $200 only. Elections Canada publishes contributor names and amounts above $200. Everything smaller is reported as a lump sum on the return and is not in the public file, so a campaign funded by many small donors looks smaller here than it was.
- As submitted. These figures come from the weekly as-submitted file, because the audited file runs more than a year behind. Elections Canada's review can correct a return later.
- Totals only. Donor names are public at Elections Canada. Source: Elections Canada, contributions to all political entities (as submitted). See data status.
